I was born in Ireland in the 1960’s, but only toyed with writing when I was young. Toyed might be too kind. I goofed about with a pen and paper when I was a child and teenager, but never wrote anything longer than a silly poem. You really have to fight for your dreams in this life, and I didn’t fight for mine. The thought of doing so never even crossed my mind back then.
A book full to the brim of surprises, twists and turns. I couldn’t put it down and felt for myself every bump on the road Dorothy took, almost seeing her visions as she did.
The first book in any series is always a curious read; you know the writer is just beginning to lay the foundations and in Avarice both the writer and Dottie are just beginning to find their feet.
This book is great!! Literally bought it today and just finished it. I’m not a big reader and it’s usually hard to keep my interest but I was obsessed the entire time.I really liked this one, I could put it down for long before I wanted to hurry back to finish it.
A great book, that really have the power to attracts people, even the who does not the habit of reading book.
The Author’s chapters are so brisk you’ll find your self half-way through the book before you know it. As well, the suspense is so well paced, and it also tosses in so many possibilities and clues to the lead character’s identity into the mix, there’s no way you’ll be able to set the book down until you read the whole book
My sister bought this book and I read it on her Kindle! I absolutely loved it! So much so, that I’ve now bought it on my account to reread in the future. The plot is so well written, and full of twists and turns that I’d love to read them again to see what I accidentally missed the first time round! Although the book is lengthy, it was worth every minute spent reading it.
